I heard some sound files of the recent group; these were more popular music orientated.
Music files pages dissapear quickly. (The song "Gulerin Icinden"which I heard was still ok)
One more (interesting) sound file from MFÖ I found is :
http://www.mfa.gov.tr/grupc/cj/cja/cjab/mazhar.wav
-It's a fine  reworked song from the original Mazhar & Fuat period-.

After MFÖ came also the group Karma. I suppose it's also not really worth investigating. Here's a cover scan :

Anouncement :

MFO meets The Beatles
in this projects there will be concert in Royal Albert Hall with Paul Mc Cartney...
Its called "Beatles Alaturca" and it will bring Paul Mc Cartney and Fuat Guner together first to outline the concert in Royal Albert Hall. It will be end of 2006 or in early half of 2007.
Will keep you informed about that on this page.

Mazhar Alanson and Fuat Guner released a fine album entitled "Turkuz Turku Cagiririz", produced in 1968.  The overall good album contained a few more outstanding tracks in a pastoral acid folk style with male / female dual vocals.
They also released a single : "Turkuz Turku Cagiririz" / "Gullerin Icinden" (Yonca Numara Records 051).
Later was formed Ipucu : Mazhar & Fuat & Ozkan & Ayhan & Galip. This group has only recorded one single : "Heyecanli"/ "Hop Otur Hop Kalk" (Bir Numera Rec. A.K. 76). "Heycanli" is a fine light rock pop song tune with some electronic instrument ?, complex enough rhythms, funky electric guitars.
Later Mazhar & Fuat & Ozkan made a new group MFÖ in 1970. The very early period of MFÖ is still interesting in style for progressive music collectors, but I don't know if any of this ever was officially recorded. Most material is less interesting.
I don't know the true relation with Kaygisizlar and M.F.Ö.
