First album is a bit more mellow, "lighter", more acoustic, nice and sweet psychpop in the direction of let's say Melanie. First chosen track is my favourite song, very beautiful. Second chosen track has a spring kind of happiness.
Also track 15 has a beautiful sing-a-long happiness. Second album has also a few rock'n roll tracks. THere are really beautiful songs on this. I like a lot "Light up a Candle".
"Well her unknown debut album "Dream in the last night (1977)" was released only a few copies by test pressings. and it was never sell to costumers. So ultra very rare in these days but it is really worth to find it!! All songs and music was produced by Lee Jeung Son. But 2nd album was by Oh Sea Eun who was really koreanized blues folk SSW musician.

60’s psychpop. The recording was done directly from vinyl. From the 7th to 10th track are with male voice. The 8th track is more psychedelic, with great guitar and organ.
"Kim Chu-Ja/Shin Jung-Hyun songs collection 1969 ; Kim Chu-Ja is a another korean pop star and debuted with support of Shin Jung-hyun. This record is a her debut album. Musical performance by Donkeys of Shin Jung-Hyun. I think that this record Donkeys play style similar to early Jefferson airplane. Especially side B 2 song is a unique koreanized psychedelic song!! Side A songs are a little pop style but Side B songs are very good psychedelic style!! Recommendable !!" Folkie Jin

Nice girl harmony driven poppsych. With Shin Jung Hyun on electric guitar. With 60’s rock band, partly orchestrated. The recording quality isn't too good, but the music is great. Last track is even less well recorded (live ?) but musically it's still too good to miss.
"The former pop idol first entered the entertainment business in 1967, after winning a singing contest hosted by the 8th U.S. Army here. She later formed a two-member singing group with her sister called, the ``Pearl Sisters,’’ which became an instant smash success. Their debut album recorded more than 1 million sales, a rare feat in the1960s. The song, ``A Cup of Coffee’’ was one of her major hits at that time.
"All songs were from SJH as he taught all musical theories and techniques to them.He was the most famoust song writer at the time. At first, Pearl sisters asked him to sing something like Jefferson Airplane's "Somebody to Love" andd if he couldn't rearrange the song for them. After that they wanted to learn Music study from him. So he became to be their music tutor. After a little while, they asked SJH " Please Sir! make one album for us" before you leave to Vietnam. At the time, Korea had to send many soldiers to the Vietnam War, because Korea was a very poor country so they needed the money and USA said to Korea that " We can give money if you can send soldiers to Vietnam". Sad but true!! Anyway Also SJH would liked to go Vietnam because in Vietnam was a Big stage for Rock musicuans worldwide at the time and the 8th US army stage was bad more and more. He wanted to make a memorial record (as a last record in Korea),too. So he produced the album with Pearl Sisters! But the album became an smash success so they didn't go to Viet Nam. This is a full story behind this album."
"Seo Yoo-Seock Shin Jung Hyun songs collection. From this record only the side A songs were reissued only CD format together with the Yang Hee Eun records in 2003. Side A songs are Shin Jung Hyun's songs ; Side B are other music writers songs. I think that this record is a good folk rock or psychedelic folk album from Korea.
Personally I still think that Korea best folk rock album is a Kim Jung-Mi's "Now" as a total album, while Korea best folk rock song is a Seo Yu-Seok's "Seonnea" or "The fairy" is a more progressive and acid folk song. Especially you can hear great harp, violin, cello session, string session, Shin Jung Hyun's wawa guitar sounds, oboe, Bass guitar at this song. A real Korean acid folk masterpiece song!!" Folkie Jin

Another record with some great psychrock tracks, with Shin Jung-Hyun. 5th track is female voice and acoustic guitar. Some tracks are better than others. Most tracks are softer psychpop / poprock with female vocals. These two great tracks are with emotional male voice. Great stuff !!
"Lim a young's debut album. She debuted with supports of Shin Jung-Hyun,too. Side A are Lim A Young voice and Side B songs are same to Questions debut album (see 3 items back). Her voice is really lovely voice and I love it!! So Side A songs have a soft pop and rock sound with string arrangements and the SideB songs are in psychedelic rock style. The side B songs ? are included in Questions debut album. Recommended !!" Folkie JinKorean info here

Except for the first track which is more a poprock song, most tracks are in a kind of psychpop/rock song style with artistic softrock or psychrock arrangements, all with female vocals. Although it is released in 1980/’81 the style is defintely 70’s. THis album is technically well recorded.
Description midheaven :
"Reissue of a solid and most rare Korean psych-pop album from the early 80s. Clearly produced psychedelic pop music with guitar leads and beautiful female vocals by Tae Min Kim. Although it gained critical acclaim when released in '81 it never hit the big time. Highly enjoyable songs full of imagination. Coming in solid mini LP replica sleeve with beautiful aquarelle artwork. Limited edition of 1000 copies. From the same label that brought us the great reissue of Korean MAGMA".
"This album was produced by Kim Chang Wan who was the leader of San Ul Rim. And 5 songs of this album were also his songs." Folkie Jin

Song oriented psychpop-rock item, with nice arrangements (rock band & organ but also oboe) & male singing, sometimes with female backing choir. Very good. Still in 70's style. Last track is also very special, with bass voice, slow movement, some organ solo etc, and backing vocals : very special ! A great album !
Good second album by Kim Jung Mi with a couple classic songs on it. Psychpop songs with good poprock arrangements, and great voice. Somwhat similar as first album, although on first album every tracks is equal strong.
