"While the Altin Mikrofon contest was very popular end respected, another big newspaper named Miliyet sterled off a new challenge for young hands: High School Bands Contest ! High schools from all over Turkey could take their chances in this contest and finalist bands' records were put out in very limited quantities. Although a garage scene existed In Turkey in the 60's, many bands couldn't get at least one single out due to countless shitty reasons. So, these high school bands 45's are the best we can have from these hands as they ware net only representing their schools, they were also playing for themselves and had separate special band names ! lstanbul Erkek Lisesi did this Artwoods (who were very popular in Turkey!) cover which was named "In The Deep End" -click title for soundfile or here-in their own way !"
